Working hand in hand with local building developers, this project called for speculative housing on an important site within a local village.

WDP's approach was to avoid the cul-de-sac solution and dramatically, split the site with development, keeping the public approach solid and format, with a transition though the properties to large glazed, open facades to the private South side of the side, culminating in terraces and gardens.

The quality of the external finishes was taken throughout the development and internal specifications provided for three fabulous four and five bedroomed family dwellings.

This development won WDP a design award from lancaster City Planners in 2004.
