WDP were approached to master plan and rationalise an existing Victorian villa to provide further living accommodation and also to create a much needed link between the living and garden spaces.

WDP proposed an interlinking extension which resulted in the back corner of the existing house being removed and replaced with slender steel columns and providing an opportunity to open up the rear of the property with a double storey galleried extension.

The result provided a interaction of kitchen/dining/garden room in a modern glazed façade which complimented the original structure. A secondary staircase to a galleried first floor extension provided the link back to the formal plan of the villa.
