| This project called for the refurbishment and extension of an existing badly converted barn to provide a spectacular home which the family could enjoy growing old in. The result was to totally re-organise the spaces , and uncover character of the property which had been hidden for years. The extension created additional accommodation and garaging, along with a formal entrance, which linked through to the back garden and provided the heart to the property. Traditional materials were employed to create the finishes, but a contemporary approach to the internal layout, with large landings, open ceilings and a play of light ensures that the maxiumum potential was made of the property and setting. |
